Anyway, I dreamt that I was falling from great heights. It bothered me so much that I checked out what it meant. Some website says it's triggered by a drop in blood pressure, a movement of the fluid in the middle ear. Some say its a loss of equilibrium or self-control, and fear of failure and letting go. But its not true. Cos i'm quite happy with what I have now. I just wanted to type this out so it gets out of my mind and to fill this blog entry. haha.

All the American tv series are back! Heroes, Desperate Housewives, Gossip Girl, Grey's Anatomy! If i get to choose Heroes powers, I'll want Matt's Mind Control and Linderman's Healing. I'm going to watch them now. NOWW :)

I need to stop time. Or at least let me run fast.

And keeping my sanity intact has become quite a challenge.

I didn't understand the chiminologies used in today's lecture, and most of the rest didn't too. The prof was mumbling to himself, 7 out of 8 words in a sentence consisted on abbreviation and scientific terms nobody has heard before. I didn't want to be rude, so I stayed on to listen; while others just left for lunch halfway during lecture. It was a hilarious moment, actually. But I was too tired to laugh. When 'that's all for today' came, I looked back 而大家都走得七七八八了。

This week was veggie-week for me, in an attempt to lower costs - but in the end i spent more. LOL. 'Cos I got hungry faster.

刚刚花了整整三个小时来想一个online assignment question. 就那么一个。最后不耐烦地按了Submit的时候答案竟然是错的。气死我了。欲速而不达形容的恰恰好。我已经用光今天的力气了。

今天是值得庆祝的日子。Finally got to video chat with my family! It's heart-warming. And totally giving me the spur to carry on with my week with endless work.

My brother made me do an idiot face. and print-screen. hahas. i know what everyone's thinking, but no. i wont' put that picture up here. it'll scare everyone away. lol

As always, the internet was bad, so the VoIP wasn't clear at all. 断断续续的。

I really enjoyed it, no matter what.

That's the widget on my desktop. All was well until today, the temperature rose up to 34. And it's not even summer! Not like I haven't experienced hot weather, but I'm still in the midst of getting used to stratification lor.

We need some Al Gore.

Things have really come to a change. Bugs start to fly around the streets. Exotic ones. Some are quite cute actually. Like mini buzzing bumblebees.

I saw Strawberry plants selling at $5 in supermarket! I guess they'll wilt even when I step out of the mall now.

Facebook changed its interface. I didn't like it initially, because the old one actually has a Wall on its own. And it shows the colourful applications that we've added on our profile page. The new facebook has tabs. And it combined all the status changes with the wall.

I even updated my Internet Explorer (who on earth still use IE?) from 7.0 to 8.0 so that the old Facebook is retained. 'Cos the new facebook doesn't work in IE8!

but but but but. Now that facebook profile pages are loading faster, and things became more organised. so I won't complain anymore. haha.

I downloaded Google Chrome for fun. It's pretty good. Very significant faster browsing/loading speed. It doesn't load the homepage forever. Just click and start surfing. It's lightweight too. The drawback is that sometimes certain pages doesn't work - chrome's too new.

My internet is so slow. I can't even watch my xingguang.

Wireless should be worldwide. And free. somebody please do something. It'll come with a Nobel Prize. The person who discovered structure of DNA only wrote a one-page essay and got it! :|

I suddenly remembered seeing a mrbrown video bro showed me few years back. I watched it again and still had a good laugh. It's so apt, now that speaking intelligible English is quite a concern to me at this very moment. Seriously, something should be done about education in spoken language in sg. Getting distinctions doesn't help. and damn, i'm struggling, trying so hard to get their accent right.

It's Chalk Urban Art Festival today! I attended the roadshow. Big crowds surrounds patches of ground where artists let their creative juices flow.





这个画家蛮有创意的。It doesn't look as fantastic in the picture, but when i was standing in front of it, it really looked as if the dragon was coming out of the ground. He used big chunks of chalkdust to create the fire-breathing effect!

3-storey high Apple Store! Everyone was giving me the 'never-seen-an-apple-store-before-meh' look when i was taking this pic. I went in to take a look and it's like a appleproduct paradise. But the price is somehow steeper.

There was this long queue beside one of the shops in Chinatown. So being a singaporean-me, my instinct tells me to stop and queue too. It had been raining since yesterday. And the winds were quite strong. But the queue never stopped. Like, its a must buy.






I took a bite. It was goodness. Or maybe cos the weather is cold. The cheesy filling flowed out like choc fondant lah! 有点外酥内软. Actually I was expecting to be bigger. Since its 4 for 1 dollar. and I waited for so long. I found out that the machine that makes the puffs are really slow, thats why it took so long. -_-

Today's lecture was interactive! I guess the prof was sick of un-engaging students. He came up with the quiz poll exercise. So everyone had to be involved. Questions were shown and we're supposed to enter our answers using the little device:

And I took a maths elective. The lecturer was explaining about equations with x and y, and then he went on to replace the unknown with sausages.
